Helen Dolan
Practice Nurse
Nurse Helen Dolan graduated from Galway University Hospital in 1985. Helen gained valuable experience in Care of the Elderly, Medical, Surgical, Ophthalmology, and Ear, Nose and Throat Medicine while working in Galway University Hospital and in Bloomfield Hospital in Dublin.
Helen moved back to Co. Galway to raise her family and she joined Dr. Joe Curran as a practice nurse in 1998. She enjoys the variety of practice nursing and has a keen interest in Travel Medicine and Primary Care Prevention.
Helen continued her professional development and has attained a Diploma in Diabetes Management from Bradford University and a Diploma in Asthma Care. She has certificates in Ear Irrigation, Childhood Immunisation, and Fundamentals of Travel Health in a General Practice Setting. She is a registered Cervical Smear taker.
Helen is passionate about providing quality care while remaining mindful of individual needs and preferences.
Outside of work, Helen enjoys travelling, yoga, Pilates and spending time with her family.
